Is it free?
Yes. Free for au pairs always, and free for families to join, browse and match. The only thing a family ever pays is a 10% service fee while an au pair is actually working, on top of their weekly pay. Nothing upfront, no subscriptions, cancel anytime.
How does verification work?
Signing up is instant, no ID needed to browse. Verifying is optional but worth it: confirm a government ID and your profile earns the green tick, and families can filter to verified-only. Anyone caring for children still needs a Working With Children Check: that part isn’t optional, and we validate it with the relevant state register and keep it up to date.
How are payments protected?

Is an au pair arrangement legal in Australia?
Yes. Au pairs typically visit on Working Holiday (417/462) visas, and every Yoohoo placement includes a simple agreement, developed with employment lawyers, that puts hours, duties and pay in writing before day one.
